To discover its secrets, the hero will have to face many challenges and enemies, acquiring tools and resources necessary for survival.

The production combines intensive exploration with dynamic battles and additionally has an extensive crafting system. The dungeons that players traverse are randomly generated and are designed in a 2D pixel art style.

In Core Keeper, the player’s task is to explore vast dungeons, collect resources and create various items. Crafting allows you to build tools, weapons and armour, as well as develop a base, which is a safe point for further exploration. During clashes with opponents, both smaller and dangerous bosses, players must demonstrate reflexes and dexterity. Additionally, they can engage in plant cultivation and fishing, which allows you to prepare meals that increase your chances of survival. Core Keeper also offers a cooperative mode, allowing you to play in a group of up to eight people, which makes it easier to overcome difficult challenges, but also allows you to choose between the standard game mode and the permadeath mode, in which defeat means you have to start the game over again.
