PS5 Doom: The Dark Ages
Doom: The Dark Ages is the sixth main installment of the legendary first-person shooter (FPS) series and thus a dark journey into the past of the iconic universe, which shows the beginnings of the Doom Slayer legend. Set in a brutal and medieval-styled reality, the story presents the hero as a living weapon in the service of deities and monarchs. It is an epic fight for the survival of a kingdom whose borders are being breached by the forces of hell. The warrior’s path is blocked not only by hordes of demons but also by incomprehensible threats from other dimensions – including those inspired by the Cthulhu mythology.
Game type:
The title belongs to the FPS (first-person shooter) genre. A dynamic shooter is available only in single-player mode. It is a prequel that has many new weapons and tools, thanks to which the game is even more exciting. Additionally, new demons have appeared and locations have been enlarged – now the game has a more open-world character.
How to play:
In Doom: The Dark Ages, the action is full-on – there is no room for standing still. The key to survival is quick movements, good timing, and absolute effectiveness in eliminating demons. The Doom Slayer in this part is heavier, and more armoured, so the pace of the action is a bit slower than in previous parts, which gives more room for defensive tactics – especially thanks to the introduction of a shield to the game and parrying blows with it.
The maps are larger, and more open than before, so there is room for scheming and discovering various nooks and crannies. And if that wasn’t enough – there are moments when you get into a big mech and smash titan skulls to pulp or ride a dragon and fight in the air. Sounds epic? Because it is.

Obsessed with the secrets of life and death, the scientist created an army of monsters that took control of his estate. Your task is to stop Curien, save civilians and solve the mystery that hides behind the walls of his residence. The House of the Dead is a dynamic game with a horror story, in which you have to act quickly to survive.

The House of the Dead: Remake is a classic representative of the “rail shooter” genre. In this type of gameplay, the player does not directly control the character’s movements, but only directs the crosshair, eliminating opponents.
New in the game:
In The House of the Dead: Remake, the creators have primarily improved the graphics, character models, sound and adapted the game to the current control standards in the game.
