How to play:

As a zoo manager, you have full control over every aspect of its operation. You create specially designed enclosures, plan finances, research species protection, and provide appropriate care for animals. You can shape the environment – create lakes, mountains, paths and decorations, using a wide range of available tools and building elements. All of these elements must be adapted to the environment, customer expectations and the needs of the animals we care for. The breeding system in the game is exceptionally advanced. It focuses on controlling the characteristics of animals, which gives the manager, you, the ability to sell individuals with desired characteristics and make a profit from it.

All of your decisions impact the health and well-being of your animals and the experience of your guests – we’re not exaggerating, even your choice of plants is indecently important.

Additionally, the game allows you to share your own projects with other players via the Steam Workshop platform, so you can be inspired by the work of the community.

How to play:

In Against the Storm, you look at the development of your settlements from the perspective of a governor, cutting down forests, gathering resources, and building more workshops, camps, and resting places for your subjects. You have to think not only about production, but also about the satisfaction of your residents – everyone has their needs, and no one will hesitate to leave your village if they are dissatisfied. Now and then, the queen gives you new tasks, and completing them is the path to development and unlocking new options. When the storm cycle ends, you choose a new place on the map and start from scratch – but with additional bonuses that change your approach to the game.
