The Chaldean Empire, thanks to the discovery of advanced rune lens technology, became the dominant power in the region. Striving to obtain an artifact that will strengthen their advantage, they send an expedition during which a young soldier meets a warrior from a small village. This accidental acquaintance changes their lives, drawing them into the vortex of events that will affect the future of the entire continent.
