The Earth has turned into a desert infested with monsters, and we take on the role of Traveler, an agent of the mysterious Collective. Her mission is to find rifts in time, leading to Poland in the 1980s, to a place called the New Dawn. In the past, the heroine searched for people who died during the cataclysm and, using a device called the Reaper, extracted their essence to bring them into the future. In Cronos: The New Dawn, in a post-apocalyptic world, one thing is most important – surviving and surviving the attacks of the Orphans, beasts created from the remnants of humanity.

Cronos: The New Dawn is a third-person survival horror game combining combat, exploration, and resource management. The project was developed by Polish studio Bloober Team, known for The Medium, Layers of Fear, and the remastered Silent Hill 2.

How to play:

Gameplay is divided into two layers – a past with monumental architecture and a future filled with mutated monsters. Combat involves firearms and melee attacks, but you must act quickly and wisely, as your enemies outnumber you.

A key mechanic is Merging – if you don’t burn a defeated monster’s body, another can absorb it, becoming much more dangerous. Players must collect ammunition, utilize time anomalies, and make quick decisions in combat. Furthermore, essences from the past empower the Traveler, but they also cause her to see and hear things that drive her to madness.
