We present to you a science fiction game by a Polish studio, where the action takes place on an unknown planet and, unfortunately for us, it is hostile to any new arrival.
In The Alters, we play as Jan – an ordinary manual worker, a technician who, after the crash of a spaceship, is left alone in a new reality, cut off from all help. To increase our chances of survival, we must use a mineral that allows us to create an alternative version of ourselves. Each version of our hero has its own unique skills, personality and approach to the situation.
Play The Alters and use the acquired resources and all hands to work to keep the base and yourself alive.

The Alters is a hybrid of strategic adventure, survival and simulation based on base management, set in science fiction. We observe events from a third-person perspective. It combines a narrative focused on a human with mechanics known from games such as Fallout Shelter or This War of Mine, offering not only planning and development of the base, but also psychological challenges resulting from the interaction of doppelgangers with themselves.
How to play:
In The Alters you play as Jan Dolski – a lone operator of a gigantic, mobile base that must be constantly moved to avoid the deadly light of the rising sun. Everyday life is a fight for survival: from expanding infrastructure (kitchens, laboratories, generators), through the extraction of raw materials, to relationships with Alters, who can become invaluable support… or a problem, or even a threat. You bring Alters to life in a special device, choosing their past, skills and traits. You, as their creator, manage them, taking into account their emotional needs, conflicts and group dynamics. Every real second is a minute in the game, and the coming dawn means doom. Your quick decisions, wise management of resources and the ability to predict the effects of your own actions are important.

The production draws inspiration from classical Russian literature, which creates a unique atmosphere. The game is diverse in terms of the plot, offering both serious considerations and lighter, more humorous moments.
How to play:
During the game, the player takes on the role of Indica, exploring various locations, from the harsh landscapes of the Russian province to detailed villages and more unusual places, such as industrial complexes. The player meets many interesting characters, solves puzzles, and takes part in arcade sequences, such as escaping from opponents. An important element of the game is also finding hidden objects that can be obtained during exploration – finding them gives additional points, which motivates you to explore the location more thoroughly. During the journey, the main character is tempted by the devil and if this occurs, you should pray.
