Switch Guilty Gear: Strive
Guilty Gear: StriveGuilty Gear: Strive is the seventh instalment in the series, which began in 1998. In a universe where science and magic intertwine, Gears were born – creatures created from humans through genetic modifications using supernatural powers. Although their goal was to support humanity, they quickly became weapons in the hands of the powerful, and their original assumptions were distorted.
This is a classic fighting game, which, in addition to introducing new combat mechanics, has been expanded with a storyline continuing the story known from previous instalments. At the centre of the events is Sol Badguy – a former member of this race, who is now trying to cut himself off from the past once and for all. In the latest instalment of the series, he unexpectedly comes face to face with his creator and greatest opponent – Asuka R. Kreutz, who voluntarily surrenders to the authorities. What drives him? What secrets does his plan still hide?
Game details:
Guilty Gear: Strive is a modern version of the 2.5D fighting game, a continuation of the legendary series by the creators of Arc System Works.
In Guilty Gear: Strive everything revolves around one-on-one duels. Each of the warriors has their own style: some prefer to keep their opponents at a distance, others go into close combat without ceremony, and there are also those who rely on complex combinations or powerful grabs. Each character has a different combat philosophy and a different way of building pressure – and that’s where the most fun lies.
The core of the fight is based on the balance between pressure and defence. During the fights, a special tension meter charges – the more actively you play, the faster it grows. You can then use it for stronger moves or Roman Cancel – a great tool that allows you to interrupt the animation of a blow and take control of the rhythm of the fight. There is also Psych Burst – a defensive rescue manoeuvre that can remove the threat, although it must be used with caution – it is not available all the time.
A new feature is the wall-breaking mechanic – if you press the opponent to the end of the board correctly, you can break them to a new part of the arena and gain an advantage.
There are many modes: a story campaign in the form of an animated movie, arcade, training, missions, versus and of course multiplayer. Online battles are in the form of a tower – the better you do, the higher you go, which translates into a good selection of rivals, without randomness.

Switch 2 Rushing Beat X: Return of Brawl Brothers
A classic franchise is reborn for modern consoles!
Whether you’re a newcomer or a veteran, playing solo or with a friend, this game will make you feel the rush!RIVAL TURF OR RUSHING BEAT?
It’s quite possible that you played one or more of the Rushing Beat games in the ’90s without even realizing it! This classic 16-bit trilogy was originally released in the West as Rival Turf!, Brawl Brothers, and The Peace Keepers. However, in Japan, the games have always been known as Rushing Beat, Rushing Beat Ran: Fukusei Toshi, and Rushing Beat Shura. Rushing Beat X: Return of Brawl Brothers is the long-awaited fourth entry in the series.
STAGES AND SIDE MISSIONS
Rushing Beat X: Return of Brawl Brothers consists of nine thrilling stages. You’ll brawl through shopping malls, slums, subways, and laboratories, each packed with enemies eager to take you down. But that’s not all; the adventure is also packed with exciting side missions to keep you on your toes.
As you progress through the story, unlock more playable characters to master. Plus, Rushing Beat X supports epic two-player co-op, so grab a friend and double the fun!
Are you taking on the challenge solo or teaming up with a partner to clean up the streets? Either way, get ready for the fight of your life!THE RAGE GAUGE
With easy-to-control auto combos, even beginners can enjoy the exhilarating action! Create your own combos with counterattacks, follow-up attacks, and attacks using weapons you have picked up along the way. Dashing or jumping will cancel most actions, adding a layer of strategy to your brawls. Depending on the directional input, you can also perform different throws, and by throwing enemies at each other you’ll knock them out of the way. Furthermore, if you throw them into the background, you can destroy objects that are normally out of reach. It’s a great chance to obtain items!
THE RAGE GAUGE
The classic rage gauge rises as you land attacks or endure them. When the gauge reaches MAX, the player enters rage mode. In addition to increased offensive and defensive abilities, the decisive move ‘Beat Rush’ can also be activated. It’s a power rush like nothing else. Use your righteous anger to defeat evil!
FOOD
At the Tuff E Nuff kitchen car, which also serves as a checkpoint during stages, you can combine various food items. Creating combo meals with three types of food increases healing potential and may even grant special effects. Whether you’re attacking or eating, combos are the way to go!
You don’t need to eat the food right away either. You can take it with you so you’ll always have a nourishing meal in your back pocket, ready to give you an extra energy boost when you need it.A NEW BEGINNING
The previous English localizations from the 90s did not follow the story from the original Japanese trilogy. This time, Rushing Beat Ran: Fukusei Toshi and Rushing Beat Shura are woven together into a single coherent tale.
Return of Brawl Brothers sees six playable characters – including veterans Rick Norton and Douglas Bild – take to the mean streets of Neo-Cisco as they battle to uncover the secrets of the odious Zeekus virus. Can they discover the true mastermind behind it all? The answer awaits you in Rushing Beat X: Return of Brawl Brothers! The return of a classic side-scrolling beat ’em up series!
