Autonauts is a classic sandbox – no pre-determined scenarios, no multiplayer, just you and your growing colony. Everything revolves around planning, exploring and implementing automation, step by step. You have complete freedom – there is no time limit or threats to thwart your plans. You can develop your base at your own pace, test different solutions offered by the game and learn from your mistakes without any major consequences.
How to play:
At first, you do everything yourself: collect wood, dig stones, gather fruit. Then you build the first tools, basic buildings and… the fun begins. You create robots – little helpers that you can teach simple tasks. You program them using a visual system that resembles learning by demonstration – very intuitive and slightly educational at the same time. Each bot can specialize in something different: one cuts down trees, another plants new ones, a third cooks or fishes.
The key? Good organization.
The game rewards well-thought-out processes and efficient management. Over time, you unlock more schemes and functions – such as warehouses, research stations or more advanced tools. All this develops your base without a final goal or “game over” – you play how you want when you want and as much as you want.

The first part is about cunning and agility – you avoid larger creatures and look for food to advance in the biological hierarchy. The second game gives you a choice: what you eat affects how you develop – you can become a predator, a vegetarian or a combination of both. The third part adds a bit of RPG – you earn points and invest them in developing specific features of your body. The fourth part develops it even more: you have more freedom, the world is more open, helpers and greater threats appear. Importantly – every decision you make changes not only the appearance of your creature but also the way it copes in the water world.

Therefore, instead of watching cutscenes, in the game, you will analyze the notes of the missing crew and find access cards to discover further corners of the deserted research station.

A combination of first-person shooter with exploration and survival elements. Although fighting enemy machines is important, the key to success is logical thinking and deduction. Discovering the environment, tinkering with tools (e.g. a welder as a weapon) and adapting to the laws of physics.
The lack of gravity revolutionizes movement – you move smoothly in 3D, using walls, ceilings and objects as reflection points. The creators focused on realism: the station is full of industrial sounds of machines, and each mechanism works on principles similar to real ones.
How to play:
Although the game mainly consists of exploration with elements of logic games, you may encounter machines on your way that you have to fight (they will not appear on the easiest difficulty level). Use the state of weightlessness, move in every direction and push off walls – to move smoothly in zero gravity, you use special manoeuvring equipment. You move through subsequent rooms of the research station, overcome obstacles and collect items.
The solo mode has an extensive storyline, but you can also play in multiplayer mode for up to 8 people. In this type of game, Deathmatch, Survivor and horde modes (fighting waves of opponents) are available. A co-op for 2 players is also available.
