In The Alters, we play as Jan – an ordinary manual worker, a technician who, after the crash of a spaceship, is left alone in a new reality, cut off from all help. To increase our chances of survival, we must use a mineral that allows us to create an alternative version of ourselves. Each version of our hero has its own unique skills, personality and approach to the situation.

In The Alters you play as Jan Dolski – a lone operator of a gigantic, mobile base that must be constantly moved to avoid the deadly light of the rising sun. Everyday life is a fight for survival: from expanding infrastructure (kitchens, laboratories, generators), through the extraction of raw materials, to relationships with Alters, who can become invaluable support… or a problem, or even a threat.
