Autonauts is a classic sandbox – no pre-determined scenarios, no multiplayer, just you and your growing colony. Everything revolves around planning, exploring and implementing automation, step by step. You have complete freedom – there is no time limit or threats to thwart your plans. You can develop your base at your own pace, test different solutions offered by the game and learn from your mistakes without any major consequences.
How to play:
At first, you do everything yourself: collect wood, dig stones, gather fruit. Then you build the first tools, basic buildings and… the fun begins. You create robots – little helpers that you can teach simple tasks. You program them using a visual system that resembles learning by demonstration – very intuitive and slightly educational at the same time.
